Here’s a quick post about one of the most ignorant, and silly, digital activist initiatives I’ve seen. In yesterday’s Vanity Fair was an article entitled “Misinformed Activists Boycott Brooklyn’s AriZona Beverages.” You probably already realize where I’m heading.

According to the story, unorganized activist boycott actions have been taking place on Twitter with people announcing that, due to their take on the controversial new immigration law in Arizona, they would no longer be consuming Arizona Iced Tea. But Arizona Iced Tea is made in Brooklyn, New York, about 2500 miles away from Arizona.
